Toy Soldiers: Cold War Review

Posted: August 22, 2011 in games

Toy Soldiers: Cold War is the last offering from Xbox 360’s Summer of Arcade, featuring such awesome games as Bastion, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and to a lesser extent Fruit Ninja Kinect. I wasn’t able to play the original Toy Soldiers game but when I saw TS:CW’s core gameplay, and being the huge tower defense [...]

Bastion Review

Posted: August 10, 2011 in games

Sony might have the leg up on Microsoft with it’s first party lineup for 2011 but the 360 is definitely way ahead of the PS3 with it’s downloadable offerings. One of the first games to come out in this year’s summer of arcade is a game called Bastion, which was released last July 20, 2011.

Get the demo for Heavy Rain right now!

Posted: February 6, 2010 in games

After MAG the next big PS3 exclusive is Heavy Rain which is going to be available on Feb 23, 2010.  The demo is set to be released on Feb. 11 but it turns out you can already download the demo if you succeed in the Heavy Rain Four Days Challenge.

If you wanna get the demo now follow these instructions:

1) Head on over to this site  for US players and this site for PAL players in order to register.

2) After registering login here in order to participate in the challenge.

Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time

I’m choosing this game as my first review of the year for a few reasons:

1) Nobody needs to do another Uncharted 2 review we all know its awesome, all I’m gonna say about that game is its the best game I’ve played in 2009 and I actually feel honored to have played such a masterpiece.

2) RnC:ACiT isn’t selling well, at least based on the NPD results on its release so I thought I might shine the spotlight on this gem that gets snubbed because of the triple A fall titles. It’s kinda like Demon Souls, anyone who plays it gives it two thumbs up but unlike Demon Souls, RnC:ACiT doesn’t get the support of the hardcore because its ‘too easy.’

3) This is the first game I finished for 2010 and like most gamers I put off buying this game to make way for Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, Assassin’s Creed 2 and even GoW: Collection.

How to buy PSN games from the US

Posted: January 16, 2010 in games

Obviously this guide is for people like me who live outside of the United States and can’t enjoy all the latest stuff the PSN has to offer. Europe’s PSN is actually on par with the US but the south-east asia PSN is severely gimped, we don’t even have Shatter! If you have access to the US PSN you can download the latest demos, subscribe to Qore and even download game videos like some Uncharted 2 interviews that weren’t even on the game CD. So here are some steps in order to access the US PSN.

The only reason to subscribe to Qore.

1. The first step is to register a US account over at the US Playstation site. I thought of doing this because I purchased the GoW collection and the code for GoW III’s demo wouldn’t work on the Asian PSN.

Whats better than one Starcraft 2 games? How about, THREE Starcraft 2 games! Fans were stunned when Blizzard made the announcement that we wont be getting the next Starcraft game in one package and instead will be released as three separate expansions, so thats one for each race. The 3 expansions, according to release, will [...]

World’s largest computer grid is now operational Remember that Large Hadron Collider thats now been delayed due to technical problems, well when it starts to be run on full capacity it will churn out enough data two fill six CDs every second.  So how are the scientists going to handle and distribute all those data? Back in college it was always fun to see a new group of kids that enter the LAN shop we were in and play the same games that we did. I would stand behind some of them and watch as they shoot acroos their screens in hopes of landing a bullet to their opponent or [...]
